Sub: - Provision of Air conditioners to the Head Post offices/Divisional offices at the stations having highest temperature.

Sir,

            A kind reference is invited on the previous request on the subject made by the circle union to your good-self. Some of the stations in HP circle viz. Una Division, Hamirpur, Dehra, Chamba and Nahan Head Post offices falls under high temperature zone during summer. Here at Una the staffs have to work during 44 degree temperature, which is unbearable even the server stops working. We are surprised as to why our request for providing air conditioners to these stations has not been considered. We are surprised that an air conditioner has been installed in the IPPB bank office which is housed in the same building of the Post office. This is a biggest discrimination of the staff of the same Central Government. You are therefore requested to kindly cause installation of air conditioners at the needy offices on priorities.
