Sub:     Non-payment of enhanced DA to the part time/contingent officials in the circle.

Respected Sir,

A kind reference is invited to the R (JCM) item No 13-7/13 discussed in the JCM meeting held on 08.07.2013. It was agreed that the issue will be examined and due DA eligible to part time/contingent paid officials in the circle will be paid.

The decision was circulated vide RJCM minutes endst No Union/4-3/2013 dated 24.07.2013.

Till date, no communication seems to have been sent to the Divisions for examination or decision taken on the subject.

There is no bar to pay DA to such staff revised from time to time since 01.01.2006.  But it has arbitrarily stopped by the Divisional Heads/DDOs in the circle. This is injustice with the part time staff.

You are therefore, requested kindly look into the matter and cause issuance of appropriate instructions to the Divisions.

It is pertinent to mention here that in RMS all the eligible officials are being paid enhanced DA.
