Sub:     Unwarranted deputation of operative staff to SP Hubs/ICHs in the circle.

Respected Sir,

At the time of introduction of SP Hub System in the circle, we were assured that for the time being the operative staff will be utilized for the functioning of SP Hubs and we were assured that as and when the new recruitment for the SP Hubs is made, the staff deputed in the Hubs shall be repatriated to their parent Divisions.

Around 20 officials have been deputed from Divisions to SP Hub Pathankot and ICH Solan, Mandi, Kangra, Shimla and Hamirpur.

Due to this deployment and shortage in the circle, the operative offices are worst hit and  triple handed SOs are functioning as double handed and double handed SOs as single handed.

The operative offices have to play vital role in ensuring generation of revenue under many schemes and in any case by reducing the staff strength for a long term basis, the desired results cannot be achieved.

Even, the officials in the operative offices have to remain in queue for availing any kind of leave applied by them.

The circle office vide above referred letter has sought willingness of the staff from the operative offices for deputation to the SP Hub Pathankot for a period of four years.

The circle union cannot bear with this and request your goodself not to depute staff on the cost of operative staff and initiate process for recruiting staff to the Hubs and even out source manpower for the purpose.

Kindly reexamine our request in the interest of smooth functioning of the services in the post offices and peace and tranquility amongst the staff working therein.

Action taken on our request may kindly be communicated for information of this union.
